Thaís Rozzeto R. Garcia

Thaís Rozzeto has over 10 years of experience in the tax area, having focused his work in the advisory and administrative litigation areas, as well as in matters involving customs law.
In the consulting area, she provides legal assistance to clients from various sectors of the economy, in various subjects, especially in matters involving indirect taxes and customs law. She also has extensive experience in tax audits, compliance and obtaining municipal, state and federal certificates. Within administrative litigation, in addition to acting in the defense of clients’ interests in administrative proceedings arising from infraction notice, she also practices with administrative proceedings whose purpose is the recovery / offset of taxes.

Thaís has earned her MBA degree in Tax Management at the Instituto de Pesquisas Contábeis, Atuariais e Financeiras (FIPECAFI) and she has also obtained her title of Specialist in Tax Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (GVlaw) School of Law in São Paulo, where she also completed the Technology Business and Intellectual Property Taxation course.

In the 2017/2018 biennium, she was a full member of the Customs Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar, Chapter of São Paulo, where she participated in discussions on current customs issues, as well as proposals for improving and updating customs legislation.
