Marcus Furlan

Marcus Furlan practices with Tax counsel and Tax litigation advising clients from various sectors of the economy, involving tax planning and structuring of operations. He also has experience in discussions involving tax immunity.

Within the litigation area, he advises clients both in defending their interests in tax assessment notices, as well as in active proceedings, whose purpose is the recovery of tax credits.

Due to his activities, he has acquired knowledge that allowed him to practice both in matters involving indirect taxes and in matters related to direct taxes.

He holds an LLM in Tax Law from INSPER, as well as an MBA in Tax Management from the Fundação para Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Administração, Contabilidade e Economia (FUNDACE), an institution made up of faculty members from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

He has authored several articles on tax issues.
